Dr. Gary L. Williams
Senior Pastor
Dr. Gary L. Williams, Sr. is the
Senior Pastor of Hopewell
Church. Under his leadership,
membership has grown from
approximately 70 members to
several thousand. Dr. Williams
seeks to transform the lives of
many through the simplicity of
the Gospel. He and his wife,
Maxine, have 4 children and
4 grandchildren.
Steve Newbill
Executive Pastor
Steve Newbill is the Executive
Pastor of Hopewell Church. The
Executive Pastor is responsible for
the overall leadership and
direction of church staff, leading
all functional areas in the
accomplishment of the church’s
mission. This includes outreach,
arts, pastoral care, group life,
student and children’s ministry
areas as well as strategic planning,
finance, administration, human
resources, and operations.
Kevin Smith, Sr.
Pastor of Operations
Kevin Smith, Sr. is the Pastor of
Operations at Hopewell Church.
The Pastor of Operations, is
responsible for the overall
leadership and direction of the
Operational Systems of Hopewell
Church in the accomplishment of
the church’s mission and vision.
The Pastor of Operations will
ensure that all systems, practices
and policies of the church are
fulfilled responsibly and effectively
in its support of the ministry at
Hopewell.
Trey Smith
Youth Pastor
Trey Smith is the Youth Pastor
at Hopewell Church. The Youth
Pastor is responsible for giving
directions to the overall
educational and activities ministry
of all youth to promote evangelism
and discipleship by planning,
promoting, coordinating,
conducting and evaluating the
youth activities of the church.
